Earl Calvin Christy was born in Roxborough, Penn. and lived in Antioch for 20 years. He was the beloved husband of Huberta Maxwell Christy, loving stepfather of James M. Patton and Sharon Greene Patton, and honored grandfather of Kate A. Patton, all of Antioch.

Earl was preceded in death by parents John Raymond and Hannah Moyer Christy, and brothers John Raymond Christy, Jr. and Gordon Vincent Christy. He is survived by sister-in-law Jacqueline Christy; nieces Cheryl Seydel, Jeanne Hoff, and Ann and Susan Christy of Ohio.

The family wishes to express thanks to the Saint John’s Lutheran church family, and special thanks to Connie Pfahl, Steve Althaus, Stephannie and J.D. Rehana, and Pastor Linda Vogelgesang for their loving care of Earl during his final illness.

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held Saturday, May 19 at 11 a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 1360 E. Tregallas Road in Antioch. All are welcome.

The family requests no flowers. Contributions may be made in Earl’s name to Saint John’s or a charity of your choice.
