On May 1 at 7:20 p.m., a 14-year-old male was walking on Williamson Ranch Road when he was approached by a 14-year-old male suspect. The suspect asked the victim for money, and the victim denied having any money.

The suspect demanded the victim empty his pockets and the suspect took $5 from the victim. The suspect then brandished a handgun and the victim fled on foot until he reached home.

The victim's parents phoned APD to report the robbery and officers responded to take the report. After obtaining a suspect description, officers located a person matching the description of the suspect near the location of the robbery.

The suspect was positively identified by the victim in an in-field lineup. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to juvenile hall.
