Felony DUI/hit and run

On June 24 at 7:38 p.m., Dominic Lucido, 25, was traveling on his motorcycle westbound on Canada Hills Drive approaching Greencastle Way when a full-size Ford pickup truck driven by Gregory Rios, 50, slowed to make a U-turn. Lucido struck the back of the truck and fell to the ground. Rios completed his U-turn and fled the scene.

Lucido suffered a broken pelvis and fractured femur, and was flown via helicopter to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Rios later returned to the scene of the accident and was eventually arrested for felony drunk driving and felony hit and run. He was booked at the Antioch Police Department and transported to the Main Detention Facility in Martinez.
