Mosque arson not terrorism

Editor:

I've read several articles and opinions about the Antioch mosque fire in Bay Area newspapers, insisting that the incident was an act of "Terrorism."

Arson? Definitely … Hate Crime? Maybe … Terrorism? I don't think so!

Nobody flew a plane into this building, nobody's head was sawed off with a dull machete, no one walked in during a service and blew himself up and no one detonated a car full of explosives.

Why is it that when a Muslim man opens fire in a shopping mall, the media call it a shooting spree?

Why is it that when a Muslim man drives his car into a group of pedestrians and gives praise to Allah, it's called an accident?

Why is it that when a child is gunned down in a parking lot, it's called a homicide?

Why is it that when a group of illegal aliens execute college students, it's called a shooting?

Why is it that Christians are not allowed to hold prayer meetings in a public library but Muslims are allowed to use the Nick Rodriguez Community Center?

And why is it that when John Kerry accuses our troops of terrorizing women and children in Iraq, the media insists that he did not call the troops terrorists?

I'm sick and tired of reading articles that are nothing more than hyperbolic diatribe intended to convince the reader that America is to blame for the hatred that Islam harbors toward our country.
