The letter by C. Jackson, "Many points missed," published on Aug. 24, is another angry attack toward not only some CSD board members but also includes unkind comments about my husband and me, whose primary goal is simply being objective.

We have been attending the CSD meetings over 18 months and missed only one. Our participation is simple and clear. Let us be constructive with our criticism and help our elected qualifying board members to perform their duties in the best way they can by helping them with our good ideas. We found none of this positive input included in C. Jackson's letter. Obviously we do not observe the issues the way C. Jackson does, but there is no need to use insulting language to express our opinions.

Every entity takes some risks and losses and should also recognize ones' accomplishments. As long as they are within the reasonable dollar amounts then this should be acceptable to the community.

The No Tow/Special Use ordinance in DB is only based on safety of human lives. We all want a safe environment. Don't we?
