Speaker Dan Westervelt, artist, author and member of Speakers, Experts and Consultants Bureau of the Color Marketing Group, will show attendees how to harness the emotional power of color in their homes.
"Choosing the correct color in a room is critical to its overall look," says Sharon Hagler, General Manager of the McCurley's Abbey Carpet & Floor Store. "With over four million shades to choose from, many people are afraid of making a mistake. This fear is easy to understand.
"Dan has served as a color expert for many companies like Mohawk Carpet, Al Sorayai, Momeni and Hellenic Rug Imports," Hagler adds, "and we are thrilled that he is going to be with us."
McCurleys's Abbey Carpet & Floor showroom is located at 8890 Brentwood Blvd. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are required. Call 634-0888 by Sept. 24.
The evening will also feature hors d' oeuvres provided by Lucy's Asia Bistro and signature desserts provided by Nines restaurant. Brentwood's own Tamayo Family Vineyard will be offering wine selections to complement the cuisine.
McCurley's has been an integral part of the Brentwood community for over 24 years. During that time the business has gained a reputation for providing strong customer service, craftsmanship and quality flooring products, plus a knowledgeable staff. The 9,500-square-foot showroom displays carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile and stone from all nationally known manufacturers.
