Teen shot twice

On Oct. 8 just after 5 p.m. the Antioch Police Department Dispatch Center received several calls of a shooting in the 2100 block on Spanos Street. One of the callers stated that a man was down on the ground in front of one of the apartment buildings.

Officers found a 15-year-old male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen. Con Fire and paramedics tended to the victim, who was taken to the Antioch High School parking lot and then flown by helicopter to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

While at the hospital, it was found that the victim also suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. He is being treated for his wounds and is in good condition. His wounds are not life threatening.
