Rookies Blue won its final home game as the Patriot offense overwhelmed the Weston Ranch Ravens Rookies. Patriot quarterback Joseph Tolentino completed several passes and Laron Cook, Justin Dam and Jhalil King each made key runs. Jacob Puente, Daniel Covarrubias, Anthony Roderick and Nick Zalec each scored touchdowns in the win. The defense's attempt to record its fifth shutout in nine games was in jeopardy late in the fourth quarter, when the Ravens mustered one last drive. But Nick Ackley forced a fumble on the Patriot 5-yard line and Gunner Aceves picked up the rock and ran it back to the Raven 10 with less than a minute to go, preserving the shutout. The Rookies Blue plays its final game at Lodi at the Grape Bowl. Visit www.deltapatriots.com for times and information.

Patriot quarterback Alex Filardo scored twice on the ground, and the strong running of Rene Clark and Jerry Guzman helped the team score throughout much of the game. Bolstering the Patriot defense was Brandon Olson, who broke up a Raven fourth-down pass and recorded multiple tackles. Rickie Arias and Marcus Clark both played extremely well on the defensive side of the ball, while Creed Heidkamp starred on special teams. Danny Stoltz played a great game on both sides of the ball.

The Patriot Rookies White squad fell from the ranks of the undefeated, losing to the second-place Galt Warriors 21-8. After taking the early lead on a 28-yard touchdown run by Kyle Trego and a two-point PAT kick by Zack Negrete, a determined Warrior squad ran off 21 unanswered points. The contest was close throughout, but the Warriors kept the ball on the ground for their final touchdown with two minutes left in the game to seal the victory. One high point in the game was Patriot safety Conor Green's 85-yard punt return, although the play didn't stand, as it was negated due to a penalty. Defensive tackles Micheal Evangelo and Samuel Sanchez each put in solid efforts in the middle for the Patriots, and linebacker Ryan Page jumped on a fumble to halt an early Warrior drive. Despite the loss, the White squad remains in first place in their division with an 8-1 record.

Malik Watson connected with Tyler Harris for a 5-yard touchdown pass, and Matthew Gonzalez scored the Patriots' final points on a 22-yard run. The defense was stout all day, allowing only one touchdown. Linemen Stephen Sakamoto, Ethan Magalei, Christopher Moule and George Casteneda held the Warrior running game in check and disrupted the timing of Galt's passing game.
