The Delta Diamonds 14U fastpitch softball team took home first place in the recent National Softball Association Halloween Bash I tournament at Rainbow Fields. In the spirit of the holiday, the girls played all four of their games in costume as prisoners of softball, allowing just five runs in five games, finishing 4-1 in the event with a 3-2 win over the Valley Heat in the championship game. This is the Delta Diamonds' third championship in as many tournaments this season. Their previous titles came in tournaments played in Fremont and Reno.
