Freedom High School students who excelled during the recent academic quarter were awarded a Student of the Quarter certificate. The new program is designed to honor students who not only earn good grades, but consistently earn the notice of staff by displaying responsibility, good attitude and an overall willingness to succeed at school. "Anytime we can reward kids for their positive, successful behavior and attitudes is a good thing," said Principal Eric Volta. "These students are succeeding on a number of levels and we want them to know we are proud of them."
