Work crews stopped traffic last week on a street inside the Discovery Bay Country Club while they replaced a damaged storm drainage pipe. The 140-foot tube had been partially damaged last year by overgrown roots. The Discovery Bay Homeowners Association decided to replace, instead of repair, the pipe that runs through two homeowners' back yards.
