What a firestorm Berkeley has created, now gaining national attention for an unfavorable stance concerning our military. The mayor of Brentwood, Robert (Bob) Taylor, firmly believes we should be in total support of all our people in uniform.

The mayor welcomes our service people to our town and should they need lodging or a home-cooked meal, more than welcomed to spend the time at the mayor's home and be shown the gratitude they so deserve.

As election time approaches, it is imperative that we exercise our right to give our opinion, but we must remember that it is our military service people who are protecting our rights as citizens of the United States of America to be allowed those opinions.
