Clinton Wilford Sudweeks, 88, passed away on Feb. 27 at his home in Brentwood. Clinton was born on May 3, 1919 in Kimberly, Idaho. He served his country as a major in the Army Air Force as a pilot. Clinton moved to California in 1946, where he was a general contractor and owned Sudweeks Construction Co.

Clinton was preceded in death by his first wife, LaVieve Jones Sudweeks, and an infant son, Clinton W. Sudweeks, Jr. His wife, Mary Lois Brown Sudweeks, whom he married in 1975, survives him. Clinton was well loved and is survived by his 10 children, including daughters Vicki Stone, Lucinda Terizeff and Teri Anderson; sons Larry, Phillip, Wayne, Bryan and Ron Sudweeks, and Greg and Todd Boster. His 38 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren will surely miss his warm hugs and great example. He always had his hands busily helping others with a big smile on his face!

Services were held on Saturday, March 1, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Brentwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Perpetual Education Fund LDS Philanthropies, 15 East South Temple, Second Floor East, Salt Lake City, UT 84150.
