Candy, games, books and toiletries in decorative Easter baskets were provided for the boys at the Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility in Byron (formerly Byron Boys Ranch). Women from Calvary Community Church, Mariner's Church and East Contra Costa Republican Women Federated joined with the Easter Bunny to put a smile on the faces of 100 boys this Easter. Pictured are Carla Cross, Linda Taylor and Dannette Bentz, who were joined in the project by Miriam Bell, Mary Middleton, Gayle Higgins and Becky Wray. A function of the County Probation Department, the facility encourages efforts to normalize life for the young men during the rehabilitation process.
