Randae Bither and her staff at Doggie Depot in Brentwood are donating their Sunday and their dog-grooming facility to sponsor a Dog Wash to raise funds for HARP (Homeless Animal Response Program). Popcorn and Pupcorn will enhance the festivities.

The Dog Wash will be held Sunday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doggie Depot is located at 1300 Central Ave. The no-frills wash-and-go will vary in price ($10, $15 and $20) based on the dog's height at the withers. Toenails-only is priced at $5. A $10 ticket holds your time slot. For reservations, call 925-516-7224.

HARP has rescued and re-homed 300 dogs and cats, and saved the lives of countess others through spay and neuter programs. An active Youth Education program teaches children to respect the environment and animals. Teaching responsible pet ownership is the cornerstone of HARP's community education efforts.

For more information, call HARP at 925-431-8546.
