Animal lovers throughout East County will get a chance to show off their pets' amazing talents and pure-line pedigrees at the Brentwood Pet Fest on June 28 at the Harvest Time Church in Brentwood.
All creatures great and small are invited to participate in the event, which will feature a variety of activities including a ball toss, costume contest, T-shirt relay, bobbing for hot dogs and a prize for the most unique pet.
This sounded like a fun thing to do, said event organizer Jennifer Reynolds. People love their pets and we thought this would be a nice family event.
All proceeds from the Pet Fest will go toward future Harvest Time Church missionary trips. Registration for the Pet Fest takes place the day of the event from 9 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $3 per event or $20 for all events. For more information, call 925-250-6593.
