Louise Sis Bryant

Louise Sis Bryant, 92, of Salem, Ore. passed away on May 25, 2008 at Salem Hospital.

Louise was born in Arch, Okla. and lived in the Peaceable District until her marriage to Pat Bryant on Sept. 2, 1933. In 1947 they moved to Oakley, where they raised their family. Louise worked for Fiberboard Corp. until her retirement after 31 years of service. She was a dedicated employee.

In 1989, Louise and her husband moved to Salem, Ore. She enjoyed her yard, hearing all about her grandchildren and everything they were involved in and loved to go to Spirit Mountain.

Louise is survived by a son, Paul, of Salem, Ore.; sister, Rose Phillips of Salem, Ore., brother, Ken Adams of Dallas, Ore.; seven grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat (in 1997); sons, Robert (in 1971) and Tom (in 1996); grandchildren, Gregg Bryant (in 1998) and Paula Rodriguez (in 2004); and brothers, Louis, Frank and Clifford Adams.

Louise will certainly be missed. We will grieve, but not sorrow, for she has found a better tomorrow.

Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
