On Saturday, June 7, the Rotary Club of the Delta/Antioch joined First Tee in dedicating a covered tee at the practice range of the Lone Tree Golf Course.

The covered tee allows kids to work on their swings in both the hot sun and cold rain.

First Tee, a program for disadvantaged children, matched the money raised at Rotary's Moonlight Golf Tournament fundraiser to purchase the cover for this unique, character-building program, which teaches life skills as well as golfing skills.
