Teen stabbed

On Aug. 12, at 7:37 p.m., Antioch police received the report of a stabbing in the 400 block of West Tregallas Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 16-year-old male who had been stabbed multiple times.

Plainclothes detectives, who happened to be working in the area on an unrelated case, located the suspects a short distance away in the vicinity of West Tregallas and Lone Tree Way.

Officers arrested Pittsburg residents John Clark, 23; Alberto Ramirez, 23; Donaciano Curiel, 26; Antonio Curiel, 28; and Juan Gonzalez, 18. Clark was identified as the one who stabbed the victim.

The others were also booked for attempted murder. The stabbing is believed to be gang related, and the victim is expected to survive his injuries.

Meth dealer busted

On Aug. 13 at 12:29 a.m. in the 1100 block of Buchanan Road, Antioch police observed 51-year-old Antioch resident Michael Howe in a parking lot meeting 21-year-old Antioch resident Jessica Martin.

Upon receiving permission to search Howe's vehicle, officers found approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine. Howe and Martin were arrested, booked at the Antioch Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
