Gary Agopian is a great choice for our next county supervisor. We have been friends with the Agopians for many years. I have known both Gary and Robin as wonderful people hard working, wise, caring, and solid communicators.

Talking with Gary about a month after he won the school board position, he told me about several meetings he had with school administrators throughout the district. Isn't that what we want in any elected position a hard worker who moves quickly to learn about concerns and issues from different sources, building relationships along the way to help solve problems?

His main campaign focus for the school board was financial improvements and accountability. Gary knows it takes team efforts for changes. Look at the results of Antioch school district from the last four years solid fiscal improvements, among many other accomplishments. When was the last time you could connect positive results directly to a campaign promise?

Gary is not the politician of old he works with others to identify the problems or the opportunities, then teams up and works hard for positive results. All the Antioch school trustees should be commended for their hard work and successes over the past several years.

Why would our current supervisor consider putting a new jail near our schools it's just one of many indications that it's time for Mr. Glover to move on. Gary is familiar with the many issues that hurt this area: Section 8 challenges, Highway 4 commute, among others. I recommend that it's time for a change in District 5. East County needs new, solid leadership.

Please vote for Gary Agopian.
