I was concerned about the shopping carts that are left all over our community. Will our stores be putting locks on the wheels so that people will not leave them on our streets and neighborhoods? Is our town going to be another shopping cart town? I hope not! It looks like changes in Brentwood are not for the better.

Oh and another issue, if I may: will there be a small-breed dog park anytime soon? I have been hosting for the past few months a small-breed dog gathering here in our downtown park so that we as pet owners can get together and socialize our small pooches as well.

The current dog park that we have on Sand Creek Road is great for large dogs; however, we find it too dangerous for our small breeds. My dog was attacked twice in that park, and so have many other small dogs. I love large dogs as well, but it can be dangerous for our smaller pooches.
