Oct. 23 A shooting was reported in the area of Delta Fair Boulevard and Somersville Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the shooting had occurred in the California Bar and Grill parking lot. There were no shooting victims on scene, but several subjects at the location had been involved in a fight. The parties stated that the fight occurred as the bar was letting out. As the fight continued in the parking lot, someone involved in the altercation started shooting in the air. No one appeared to have been hit by the gunfire. Three spent shell casings were found at the scene.



Oct. 25 In the vicinity of Belle Drive and Kendree Street, a fight over a girl broke out and a subject was shot in the buttocks. The people at the party were mainly uncooperative. The victim was treated at a hospital and released. The case is under investigation.



Oct. 26 Two males met for a marijuana transaction in the vicinity of Putnam and El Rey streets. The buyer brought an unidentified male subject with him, approached the victim's vehicle on the passenger side, pulled out a gun and demanded all of his money and marijuana. When the victim refused and attempted to drive off, the suspect fired one shot. The bullet went through the victim's pant leg and through his car door. He was not injured. The suspect and buyer were not located and the case is under investigation.



Oct. 29 Police in Oakdale, Minn. arrested 17-year-old Sirvontre Ingram (aka Tre), who was wanted for questioning in regard to the Sept. 18 shooting that occurred on the walking path behind the Wal-Mart on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. The 16-year-old victim of the incident was shot twice as he fled after being robbed of his MP3 player. Ingram was identified as the shooter. He was also wanted on an unrelated no-bail warrant for his arrest. Ingram's arrest in Minnesota took place at the home of a relative. Ingram was taken into custody for his California warrant and an unrelated robbery charge out of Oakdale. The Contra Costa County District Attorney's office has agreed to extradite Ingram on his California warrant.
