The East Contra Costa Historical Society will host a traditional turkey dinner and a special speaker at its annual membership meeting on Nov. 22.
In addition to an update on ECCHS news, Gary Bogue, popular animal columnist for the Contra Costa Times, will speak about East County wildlife.
The dinner will be catered by the Delta Vista Culinary Project and will be held at the San Joaquin Yacht Club on Bethel Island from 2 to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $15, and can be obtained by calling Jody Merriam at 925-240-0288 by Nov. 19.
