Oakley offers winter recreation programs

The City of Oakley's Recreation Division is offering the following programs to help the community enjoy the month of December:

Winter Pre-School Camp

Designed for children 3 to 5, activities will include circle time, arts and crafts, winter games and story time. Winter Pre-School Camp will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fee is $20 and the registration deadline is Dec. 12.

Winter Chill Camp

Designed for children 6 to 11, activities will include cool games, festive arts and crafts and homemade holiday treats. Winter Chill Camp will be held Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fee is $20 and the registration deadline is Dec. 17.

Holiday Gift Workshops

Children will make holiday gifts for friends and family, plus festive wrapping paper and holiday cards. All supplies will be furnished. Session I, designed for children 3 to 5, will be held Friday, Dec. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. The fee is $20 and the registration deadline is Dec. 8. Session II, designed for children 6 to 11, will be held Friday, Dec. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. The fee is $20 and the registration deadline is Dec. 15.
