Candy Cane Lane on Capstan Place (off Newport) in Discovery Bay is sure to make several children's Christmas a little brighter this year.
The event takes place Dec. 14 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.The community is asked bring an unwrapped present (books, toys, clothes or gift certificates) for a disadvantaged child in our area, to be distributed by Brentwood Regional Community Chest and Delta Community Services Agency (serving Discovery Bay, Byron, Brentwood and Oakley) in time for Christmas Day.
Families making donations will receive free hot chocolate and candy canes.
