May 27, 10:56 a.m. Officers of the Antioch Police Department responded to the report of an traffic collision on Deer Valley Road at the intersection of Balfour Road. The driver of an automobile, a 40-year-old female Brentwood resident, was turning southbound onto Deer Valley Road from Balfour Road when she collided with a motorcycle. Riding the motorcycle were 52-year-old and 9-year-old male Clayton residents, father and son, traveling northbound on Deer Valley Road. The female was not injured, but both males suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and were flown by helicopter to area hospitals for treatment.
