Two of East Contra Costa County's oldest independent water companies have merged to provide local residents increased water purification and treatment services. Delta Pure Water and Pure Water, Etc. have become Delta Pure Water, Etc. The new company is located at 41A Sand Creek Road in Brentwood.

Chris Hayek, formerly of Pure Water, Etc., has been in the water business for more than 20 years. In the past six he has specialized in water softener and water treatment systems. "It's always been important to me to give customers the best products and service," said Hayek. "I'm thrilled about this merger because it helps us remain independent while still providing the best water services anywhere in the county."

According to Joe Trebino, formerly of Delta Pure Water, "Together, Chris (Hayek) and I can give our customers even better service, a fuller range of products, and twice the knowledge and experience."

The new full-service company will provide the full spectrum of water purification and treatment services, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, purified water for 30 cents per gallon in the customer's container, purified ice, and all sizes of water bottles and coolers.

Delta Pure Water, Etc. is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Purified water is available 24 hours a day. Delta Pure Water, Etc. is the official pay station for AT&T and PG&E, as well as a number of other companies.
