Principal Scott Bergerhouse acknowledged their achievements by introducing the graduating students as 'The Class of 2010,' and commending them for their hard work and perseverance.
The Park Choir performed the 'Star Spangled Banner' and a moving rendition of the Irish Blessing. Antioch Unified School District Superintendent Dennis Goettsch offered his congratulations to the graduates.
But the significance of the day was really about parents, grandparents, friends and peers; a celebration of accomplishment and pride. One stand-out sign in the crowd said it all: 'Congratulations To My Cousin. We Love You.'
