The Brentwood nursery is offering participants in its online Name the Plant game a free one-gallon plant or automatic discounts on other plants and a chance to win an impressive 24-inch boxed Queen Palm.

The promotion is found at pereznursery.com and is just one of the many ways the nursery has embraced the local community. The family-operated nursery has been a source of inspiration and enlightenment for local homeowners with a green thumb for over 14 years.

"We aren't like the big chain stores; we try to have a personal relationship with our customers so we can meet their individual needs," said owner Irma Perez. "We thought our customers would appreciate a fun game that helps teach them something at the same time."
