Allison Maritz, 5, of Brentwood, decided to donate her long tresses to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children who suffer from long-term medical hair loss. The ceremonial shearing took place at Dimensions Hair Salon in downtown Brentwood.
