Beginning this weekend, Holy Rosary Theatre Group, under the direction of Timothy J. Hooke, will present the timeless legend of "Cinderella." Audiences will be enchanted by Fairy Godmother, dancing mice, and the magical moment when Cinderella meets Prince Charming and her life is changed forever.

For more than 12 years, Holy Rosary Theatre Group has been producing innovative, quality theatre for all ages. Recognized throughout Contra Costa County for its uniqueness, the Antioch-based Holy Rosary Theatre Group consistently presents inspiring classic tales. The production of "Cinderella" will showcase a cast of over 60 talented actors from the East Contra Costa communities of Antioch, Brentwood and Oakley.

Performances take place Aug. 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 13 at 2 p.m., Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 19 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. All performances are staged in the Holy Rosary Dominican Hall, 1313 A St. in Antioch. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors, and will be available at the door.
