Contra Costa County District III Supervisor Mary N. Piepho recently announced her choice of Paige D'Angelo as her new chief of staff. Ms. D'Angelo will be responsible for managing Piepho's policy agenda and board committees, as well as for the overall management of the county supervisor's offices and overall staff functions.

"Paige comes to my office with an extensive background and experience that will assist me in leadership for my constituency," Piepho said. "Paige's personal commitment to our community as well as her interests in serving in a local government capacity will be very beneficial to our operations. Paige has a great personality and dedication that will serve our constituents very well."

D'Angelo has extensive experience in California government and management, which includes serving as field representative for assemblyman Guy Houston, and manager of regulatory/legal support for SBC Communications.

D'Angelo received a Bachelor of Arts and Communications degree with a minor in government from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga.

"I am excited to be part of Supervisor Piepho's team," D'Angelo said. "I look forward to working with the constituents of District III and Contra Costa County."

D'Angelo can be reached in Supervisor Piepho's office at 820-8683.
