Senior Santa a success

Editor:

The staff at Home Instead Senior Care would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all participants of Home Instead Senior Care's successful Second Annual Be a Santa to a Senior.

This holiday season, more than 250 local needy elders received gifts from the community. The purpose of this program is to combat common holiday loneliness and depression among the senior population.

Participants include the generous gift donors of East Contra Costa County, all compassionate gift wrapping volunteers, Antioch Senior Center, Concord Royale, Wal-Mart of Pittsburg, The Commons at Dallas Ranch Assisted Living Community, Quail Lodge Retirement, Raley's Supermarket and the Brentwood Press.
