A championship team and six decorated athletes were recently named to the Liberty Union High School District Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Liberty High School girls basketball team of 1984-85; athletes Ross Bomben (Class of 1993), Ronald Dell'Immagine (1963), Joseph Ghiggeri (2000), Stephanie Jzyk (1999), Michael O'Brien (1956), and Johnny Rodriguez (1990) will be honored at the district's 16th annual Awards Dinner on April 28 at Liberty High School.

Tickets for the dinner are $30, and are available for purchase at the Independence High School Adult Education Office, 929 Second St. in Brentwood, or by calling Joanne Morrison at 634-2565, ext. 1022 or Jack Ferrill at 634-2589, ext. 1054.
