A hoppin' good time was had by all, as members of the community got a jump on their holiday festivities with an Easter egg hunt at Liberty High School.

The fourth annual Easter Eggstravaganza, hosted by Mountain View Christian Center, America's Good News newspaper and Trinity Christian School, was held April 7 and featured 200,000 plastic eggs filled with candy awaited by eager children, along with a plethora of activities to keep patrons busy throughout the day.

Organizers estimated more than 30,000 people, the event's largest turnout to date, showed up for the hourly age-appropriate egg hunts, 20-plus bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, food and prizes, all for free.
