Threats of rain Saturday did nothing to discourage artisans, musicians and over a hundred art enthusiasts at the Discover Art League's second annual Art Fest.

Held at the Lakeview Plaza in Discovery Bay, compliments of Dr. Mike Todorovic of Discovery Bay Dental, artists displayed their paintings, glass pieces, ceramics and jewelry.

Event Coordinator Barbie Koncher, owner of Art Glass & Art Clay Silver, made a presentation to festival goers on her latest four-piece set called "Eye of the Tiger," and Nana-Dictta Graves, a mosaic and collage artist, displayed an original piece made of old magazines and fabrics.

"I do lectures on how to utilize everything in life," said Graves, a Ghana native who recently moved here from Texas. "My work is displayed at the Mechanics Bank in Pittsburg on Railroad until the end of May."
