Brittany and her 14-year-old registered quarter pony, On Top of Ole Smokey, will be featured in Ride magazine along with the winners of the other riding divisions. The Delta Vista Middle School eighth-grader and her pal Smokey have been working toward the Silver Buckle Grand Championship since last September. The two compete in Hunter Jumping classes, reaching a team-best height of 2 feet, 6 inches.
Brittany rides and boards her pony at Brentwood Oaks Equestrian Center and is also a member of the United States Pony Clubs and the Clayton Canyon Pony Club.
