The Antioch Sports Legends Program is teaming up with Outback Steakhouse for a down-under barbecue fundraiser on June 10 at the Antioch Historical Society Museum.

The event begins at 2 p.m. with a no-host bar and will include an auction, raffle, entertainment by local music group the Blues Healers, and an Australian barbecue, courtesy of the Outback Steakhouse, running from 4 to 6 p.m.

The menu includes center-cut top sirloin seasoned and seared to perfection plus chicken on the barbie seasoned and grilled with all the fixin's.

For those who purchase by May 13, tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 12 and under. For those who purchase between May 14 and 27, the fee increases to $25 for adults. Tickets are available at 716 West Second St. in Antioch.

Proceeds of the event will go toward establishing the 750 square-foot section of the Antioch Historical Society Museum to honor the community's sports legends of the past, present and future in all sports and genders. The Best of the Best will represent athletes in professional, college and high school sports, as well as the significant history of the city's youth programs, community teams, individuals, facilities and historical achievements and contributions.

The Antioch Historical Society Museum is located at 1500 W. Fourth St. For more information, contact Tom Menasco at 325-3255 or Eddie Beaudin at 383-4979. To learn more about the Antioch Sports Legends program, visit www.antiochsportslegends.com.
