It's possibly one the most sought-after, talked-about, wondered-about, and pointed-at two-story Victorian home on Highway 4 next to Marsh Creek Road, until now.

Brentwood resident Cathy Massoni, with her husband Anthony, bought the home nine years ago, graciously opened its doors a few weeks ago and let in some fresh air, a reporter and a photographer.

The wood floors creaked, most likely happy to have company shuffle about what decades ago was a busy farm home, while Cathy pointed out the pocket doors, sturdy handrails and small kitchen. She also let the walls do some talking themselves.

"There are no ghosts in here; this is a happy home," she assured.
