The students and staff of the Oakley Union Elementary School District said goodbye to both the school year and two of their longtime and beloved educators this week: O’Hara Park Middle School Principal Roger Macdonald and wife Dina, an OUESD Middle School literacy teacher.

The Macdonalds will be heading up to Arcata in Humboldt County, where Roger has accepted a position as assistant principal at Arcata High School. “We have nothing but happy memories of our time here and are so proud to have worked in such an awesome place,” said Roger. “We’ll miss Oakley very much.”
