Liberty High School Interact Club members Kaitlyn Zeigler, Mariah Piepho, Hailey Schneider, Cody Deyoe, Mekalia Pippen, Briana Lucca and Sharleen Chandra worked alongside members of the Rotary Club of Brentwood to complete a painted, scaled map of the United States in the quad at Garin Elementary School. The project took about three days, from the prep work of cleaning the surface to the use of a 1,000-square-foot stencil to draw the map. According to Rotarian and project manager Dirk Zeigler, the map will give kids the opportunity to play and learn at the same time.
