The City of Brentwood invites residents to the renovated City Park, 710 Second St., on Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m. for a performance by Swing Fever, one of the Bay Area’s premier jazz bands.

Championing jazz of the 1930s and ’40s since 1978, Swing Fever has toured and recorded with renowned musicians such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, trumpeter Clark Terry, clarinetist Buddy DeFranco and vibraphonist Terry Gibbs. Information on the band can be found at www.swingfever.com.

Ample parking is available in the garage adjacent to City Park. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to this first of the city’s eight summer concerts in the park.

All patrons are asked to follow park rules before, during and after the concerts. Dogs, glass containers and audio/video recording devices are not allowed. For more information, call 925-516-5444.
