The Arts & Cultural Foundation, in partnership with the Antioch Historical Society, will host the eighth annual Celebration of Art 2012 Exhibit at the Antioch Historical Society Museum. The non-juried exhibit, which spotlights the work of more than 50 local artists, begins Saturday, June 30 with an artists’ reception from 2-4 p.m. and continues through July 25. The exhibit, reception and admission to the museum are free.

Following the artists’ reception on June 30, local favorite Vocal Ease & the Boogie Men give a free concert on the grounds of the Antioch Historical Society Museum. Seating is not provided; attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and a lawn chair.

The Celebration of Art 2012 Exhibit’s participating artists are Andre Salvador, Arturo Garcia, Beverly C. Turner, Big Al Lopez, Chris Jacques, Clyde Cox, Dave Beardsley, David German, Dianne Sorvari, Easy Gonzalez, Fred Hoskins, FROGard Butler, Gail Zavala, Gloria Cannon, Helen Baxley Smith, J. Lauren Andree, Jeannie Wallen, Jo Catarelo, Joan Facca, Joel Summerhill, Josie O’Malley, Juan Carlos Varela, Julia Offord, Julia Starr, Karen Kelly, Kathleen Henderson, Kay Kirby, Ken Tomlin, Kyoko Campbell, Laurie DiMaggio, Linda Trapp, Lisa Salazar, Lynn Peterson, Lynnette Sweeney, Mary Negrette, Maryam Pezeshpour, Mauricio Ramirez, Michelle Ramirez, Mikhael Ramirez, Milian Correa, Nordyn Anderson, Pat Prejza, Paul Schorr, Robert Rodriguez, Samuel Gill, Sandy Gangwer, Sheila Fisher, Sherry Cummings, Sherry Gumbert Morris, Tom Dudziak and Victoria Sheridan.
