Editor:

What a disappointment that these 50 students chose to take on such a disrespect to their school, community family and friends, most of all showing that they are irresponsible and most definitely not ready to be honored as graduates.

And should they have to go to summer school for finals and not walk with honor to receive their diplomas, these students knew the consequences and ignored the respect of their school and fellow students. This behavior was not a prank; it was a criminal act, and if they aren’t penalized for it now, these students will not have learned a valuable lesson.

I hope the school district continues to honor and respect the many graduates that did not participate in this unacceptable behavior!
