Alycia Rubio and her cousin Kristi were fortunate enough to get hold of standing silver area tickets and take their Hometown Weekly Newspaper to the recent presidential inauguration. Alycia, Kristi and the Oakley Press were out on the mall by 5 a.m. and commandeered prime spots right behind the Capitol reflecting pool. Alycia reports that she’ll “never be able to completely describe what true community and goodwill feels like … or how it felt to be crying, cheering, freezing, and blessed to be a part of something so meaningful for America and the world.”
