Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, located at The Streets of Brentwood, is promoting its third Fudge for Troops campaign through the month of July.

For every pound of fudge purchased, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will donate one pound of fudge to Blue Star Moms, Chapter 101 of the East Bay. Blue Star Moms will include the fudge donation in care packages they send to our service men and women overseas.

“Our first campaign back in 2010 resulted in a donation of 107 pounds of fudge, and our second campaign last year resulted in 170 pounds of fudge being donated to Blue Star Moms,” said Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Owner Christine McKnight. “Our customers are incredibly generous and supportive of our efforts, and we’re very appreciative.

“We’ve received photos, e-mails, letters and postcards from some of the many service men and women our donations have reached, and they just love our fudge. We even received a letter from a young soldier from Brentwood who was stationed in Afghanistan and was thrilled to receive our fudge from his hometown.”

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a franchise, gourmet-chocolate store specializing in handmade chocolates, caramel apples, fresh fudge, dipped strawberries, fundraising, special events, corporate events and specialty gifting.
