The Black Diamond Kids Center All Star Cheer teams are in the midst of another exciting and successful season – and on their way to compete in the Jamz Nationals completion in Las Vegas, held Feb. 19-22.

This year, the Black Diamond All Star teams will each compete in nine competitions. They have already brought home seven first-place, one second-place and one third-place trophy between them. “I am so proud of our girls this year,” said program director Nicole Younger. “It was really exciting to see their skills and confidence develop over the year. We look forward to competing and having fun at the national tournament next month.”

Black Diamond Kids Center strives to provide an exciting and positive cheer experience for cheerleaders of all skill levels. There are two traveling competitive teams of girls from 6 to 18. Team members learn new cheer and tumbling skills from coaches Erika Amate, Sonya Perry, Kelly Pierce and Nicole Younger. The cheerleading program provides physical conditioning and builds self-esteem and team camaraderie. The season runs from May to March.
