The academy will introduce students to careers in automotive repair, electrical appliances, heating and air conditioning, welding, process technology and electrical/instrumentation technology. The academy also provides instruction in basic math and English designed for vocational and industrial careers. This program is free to those who qualify for a Board of Governors Fee Waiver.
Information about the program will be available at free informational sessions on Mondays, Aug. 6 and 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the LMC Library Conference Room, L106, 2700 E.
