Gaby Zimmerman, seen here with Oakley Mayor Kevin Romick, right, and Gene Buccholtz of Hook Line & Sinker, won the Most Fish Caught award in the age category of 1-5 during Oakley’s recent ninth annual Fishing Derby.

Gaby was one of 116 children who participated in the catch-and-release derby at the Antioch/Oakley pier. Over the course of two hours, the event saw 136 fish hooked.

Other winners included Violet James, Conner Lewis, Faith Visser, Brandon Sullivan, Fanta Jimissa, Jacob Lowe, Mitchell Wilson and Austin Head.
