Aug. 2, 12:30 a.m. Officers of the Brentwood Police Department deployed road spikes at the intersection of Lone Tree Way at Canada Valley Road in order to disable a stolen vehicle whose driver had failed to yield to officers of the Antioch Police Department. Antioch officers took the driver into custody at Lone Tree Way at Slatten Ranch Road.

Aug. 2, 9:15 a.m. An unidentified person stole mail from the mailbox of a residence on Pippo Place.

Aug. 2, 10:31 a.m. A resident brought ammunition to police headquarters for destruction.

Aug. 2, 4:20 p.m. A driver struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Brentwood Boulevard at Second Street.

Aug. 2, 4:37 p.m. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot on Lone Tree Way.

Aug. 2, 9:16 p.m. A stolen vehicle was stopped on Sand Creek Road at Sandstone Drive, resulting in the arrest of four subjects.

Aug. 2, 11:54 p.m. A subject caught spray-painting graffiti on a bridge on Minnesota Avenue at Sand Creek Trail was arrested and released on a Promise To Appear.

Aug. 3, 7:55 a.m. On Brentwood Boulevard at Oak Street, a subject stopped for vehicle code violations was found to be driving on a license suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and released on a Notice To Appear.

Aug. 3, 9:29 a.m. A driver struck a hydrant on Bonum Way at Flores Way, causing minor damage.

Aug. 3, 11:17 p.m. On Second Street at Chestnut Street, a subject who used force to steal a purse was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 4, 12:16 a.m. A subject contacted on Brentwood Boulevard at Lone Tree Way was found to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 4, 1 p.m. On Havenwood Avenue at Brentwood Boulevard, a subject contacted regarding a welfare check and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 4, 3:53 p.m. A subject caught trespassing at a business on Lone Tree Way was found in possession of concealed merchandise and tools to assist her in shoplifting. She was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 4, 7:40 p.m. On Brentwood Boulevard at Balfour Road, a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation was found to be driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.

Aug. 4, 9:21 p.m. A subject caught trespassing on property on Bamboo Drive was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 5, 12:29 a.m. An unidentified driver struck a vehicle parked on Pescara Boulevard and fled without leaving contact information.

Aug. 5, 1:37 a.m. During an altercation on Coyote Court, two subjects came to the aid of two subjects being battered, one of whom sustained a gunshot wound to his right knee; the other a blow to the head from a steel pipe. The two assailants were positively identified, arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 5, 2:45 a.m. During an investigation on Coyote Lane, officers found a discarded jacket containing suspected cocaine.

Aug. 5, 5:12 a.m. A driver struck a light pole on American Avenue.

Aug. 5, 10 a.m. A resident of San Marino Lane found on her front porch pools of a substance she suspected to be blood.

Aug. 5, 12:15 p.m. A driver broadsided a vehicle parked on Dunedin Drive.

Aug. 5, 8:19 p.m. An unidentified person stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on Flora Court.

Aug. 6, 11:22 a.m. An unidentified person entered a residence on Campanello Drive through an unlocked rear slider and stole jewelry and approximately 25 boxes packed for moving.

Aug. 6, 3:29 p.m. A three-vehicle collision occurred on Fairview Avenue.

Aug. 6, 4:51 p.m. An unidentified person forced entry to a residence on Cottonwood Common and stole several firearms, precious metals used in dentistry and various silver coins.

Aug. 6, 5 p.m. An unidentified person who contacted a resident of Comice Parkway by telephone, posing as a computer repairman, obtained personal information from the victim and attempted to steal money through one of the victim’s accounts.

Aug. 6, 10:11 p.m. On Brentwood Boulevard at Applewood Court, the vehicle of a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation displayed false license plates and registration expired since January of 2011. The driver was arrested and released on a Promise To Appear. The vehicle was stored.

Aug. 7, 9:55 a.m. A resident of Sycamore Avenue found a hypodermic needle in his driveway.

Aug. 7, 11:35 a.m. On Lone Tree Way at Empire Avenue, a subject stopped for racing against another driver was arrested and released on a Notice To Appear. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

Aug. 7, 4:16 p.m. A package was stolen from the front porch of a residence on Elizabeth Way.

Aug. 7, 6:30 p.m. An unidentified person stole an iPhone from a business on Lone Tree Way and fled in a vehicle.

Aug. 7, 9:59 p.m. An unidentified person stole a bike from the open garage of a residence on Las Flores Drive. Estimated loss: $350.

Aug. 8, 9:45 p.m. An unidentified person broke into a residence on Oak Street and stole a computer.

Aug. 9, 7:43 a.m. A collision involving four vehicles, three of which were parked, occurred on Montecito Drive at Taylor Road.

Aug. 9, 9:30 a.m. An unidentified person stole an iPad from an unlocked vehicle parked on Canfield Court.

Aug. 9, 11:15 a.m. On Brentwood Boulevard, a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation was found to be driving without a license. He was arrested and released on a Notice To Appear. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

Aug. 9, 8:26 p.m. On Fairview Avenue at Balfour Road, a subject stopped pursuant to a description given by a witness was found to be driving under the influence of controlled substance. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Aug. 10, 3:41 a.m. On Sycamore Avenue, a subject apprehended after battering another subject and smashing his windshield was arrested and released on a Promise To Appear.
